In August of 2012, we packed our bags with our belongings, sold our house, and moved from sunny Houston Texas to cloudy Aberdeen Scotland.  Our lives consist of working as expats and traveling as much as possible.  Since the work side is pretty boring, our blog is mostly about our travels and occasionally our lives as expats.

We came with a list of places to see – and as soon as we tick places off the list, we tend to add a few extra places onto the list.  Some are major cities with heavy tourist traffic (must-do Europe like Paris, Berlin, Rome, etc.) but others are remote, random, or perhaps far flung (West Africa, the Middle East, and Asia).  At the rate we are going, we may actually end up with a longer list than we started – but that just means we will keep traveling.

In early 2015 our assignment finished and we returned to the US.  Rather than settle into staying put, we have kept traveling & blogging. Enjoy and thanks for visiting!
